 - Domestic applicants: Artists or professionals in ceramics, crafts, painting, sculpture, and related fields.

※ Applicants aged under 45 may be given preferential consideration.

- International applicants: Graduates with a degree (or expected graduation) from a relevant department at a four-year university or higher.

※ If the number of international applicants is insufficient, domestic applicants may be selected instead.

B. Residency Period : July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026 (1 year)

C. Number of Residents : 6 artists total (4 domestic, 2 international)

D. Residency Location : Yanggu Baekto Village Craft Creation Studio 

- Personal studio: 37.44㎡ per artist

- Kiln room: 72.72㎡

- Research room: 53.10㎡

- Shared corridor and terrace

2. Application Period and Submission

4. Screening Schedule and Announcement of Results

A. Document Review : May 13 (Tue) – May 16 (Fri), 2025

※ Additional in-person interviews may be conducted if necessary.

B. Announcement of Results : May 20 (Tue), 2025 – Notification via individual phone call

C. Residency Contract Signing : By May 30 (Fri), 2025

5. Resident Artist Responsibilities

A. Permitted Use: Limited to ceramic production, processing, and experiential programs.

B. Duration of Use : 1 year from the date of contract signing

1) Domestic Artists – Renewable up to two times after performance evaluation upon completion of the initial one-year term (maximum of 3 years)

2) International Artists – Minimum 3 months to a maximum of 12 months

C. Usage Fee : Free of charge. However, upon completion of the residency, one artwork must be donated following review by the museum’s acquisition committee.

D. Additional Costs : Residents are responsible for costs related to additional use of facilities or equipment beyond basic utilities.

E. Studio Maintenance : Residents are expected to maintain the studio space and surrounding environment in proper condition.

F. Other : Additional operational matters will be specified in a separate contract.

※ The contract may be terminated if the resident falls under any of the termination clauses stated in the contract.

6. Support Provided

A. Use of kilns and equipment (material costs to be covered by the artist)

B. Opportunity to participate in exhibitions organized by the Yanggu Porcelain Museum (subject to advisory committee review)

C. Support for firing in traditional wood-fired kilns

D. Provision of Yanggu Baekto clay (available for purchase)

E. Access to research materials on Yanggu Baekto and Yanggu Baekja

F. Use of museum equipment and facilities

G. Priority in allocation of studio space in Yanggu Baekto Village

H. Support for critical reviews of the artist's work

7. Additional Information

A. The residency may be canceled if any submitted information is found to be false.

B. Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages caused by errors or omissions in the application, or failure to be contacted.

4. 심사일정 및 선정결과 발표

5. 입주작가 의무사항

가. 사용용도: 도자기 제조, 가공, 체험시설로 한정

나. 사용기간: 계약일로부터 1년

1) 국내작가 - 1년 계약 만료 후 실적 평가에 따라 2회 연장 가능(최대3년)

2) 국외작가 - 최소 3개월 ~ 최대12개월

다. 사용요금: 무상(입주기간 만료시 박물관 수증심의회 심의후 1점 내외의 작품 기증)

라. 기본공과금 외 시설 및 기자재 추가사용에 따른 비용 부담

마. 스튜디오 공간 및 주변 시설·환경 관리 철저 

바. 기타 운영에 관한 세부 사항은 별도 계약서에 규정함

※ 입주대상자가 계약서에 명시된 계약 해제 사유에 해당할 경우 계약해지 가능

7. 기타 

가. 선정 후 허위사실이 판명될 경우에는 선정을 취소할 수 있음
